Mackin Educational Resources is unlike any other vendor or jobber you may be familiar with that services your school. Our focus is providing the items you need rather than offering you a set list of titles to choose from. We are a distributor of library books in all bindings; prerecorded audio visual materials, including audio books on CD/cassette; and e-Resources such as ebooks and online databases.

We have access to over 2 million titles in our database on MACKIN.COM and work with more than 18,000 book, non-print and digital publishers. This means, that our fill rates are the highest in the business averaging 95-100%, and you get more of the books you want.

We also provide totally customized cataloging and shelf-ready processing. You don't have to choose from a list of pre-set options. You tell us exactly what you want, and we'll take care of it. Your books can arrive completely shelf-ready; all you have to do is take them out of the box; load your MARC records and the items are ready to circulate.

Order Information

Our business is centered on high fill rates. If the titles you require are in-print and available to us, they will be provided. Because publishers' inventories fluctuate, and because Mackin provides discounts through CalSAVE, we suggest that you over-order by approximately 20% to assure full dollar amount fulfillment. We will always honor your do-not-exceed requests as we make every effort to fill your orders to their full dollar amount.

Under normal circumstances, we will send your first shipment in approximately 28 days after receipt of order (ARO). If necessary, a second and final shipment will go out within 45 days ARO. But if you ever need something quicker, just contact us and we’ll do our best to fulfill your needs.

If a question arises about your order, you will be notified immediately by one of our customer service representatives. All items shipped in the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska, and to APO/FPO addresses receive free shipping on every order over $50.00. International orders are shipped at cost; rush orders are charged 8% for shipping or a minimum of $5.00.
