Aries Technology has been awarded the AEPA IFB #012 contract to provide Mobile Learning Solutions to CalSAVE customers. Since 1986 Aries has been providing educational institutions throughout the world with innovative technology solutions.

The Aries Mobile Learning Solution is a web-based "Universal Learning E-vironment" or "ULE". It contains numerous features that benefit schools as an entire package or elements of ULE can be purchased as individual modules. ULE provides customers the ability to deliver eLearning curricula on a mobile system for learning management, student registration and information, assessment and records management on iPhones, iPads, Android phones and Android tablets.

ULE can help schools in four key areas:

1 – eLearning Curricula – Aries offers ULE with an innovative and wide ranging library of pre-K to 12th grade math, science, English/Language Arts, character education, career & technical education and teacher professional development eLearning curricula.

2 – Learning Management – ULE supports importing of SCORM compliant learning content for creation of content libraries. It is integrated with Google Docs, Moodle, WebEx and Skype (as well as ULE's proprietary course creation technology for video, audio, slides and HTML) to allow educators to create their own courses. ULE also features forums, wikis and blogs for virtual communication and synchronous & asynchronous teaching.

3 - Assessment and Records Management – ULE retains records of all student performance. Content for teaching and assessment are dynamically tied in a single system that provides detailed analytics. ULE supports QTI and XML exam bank importing and the system enables educators to create assessments in a variety of formats including Multiple Response, Bimodal, Dynamic and Open Ended.

4 – Student Registration and Information – ULE features a course catalog creator and website creator engine to automate student enrollment and student information management. The student registration center features a class calendar and full course descriptions with dynamic links. The student information module features gradebooks, student portfolio storage and student assessment reporting (that is all web based so it can be accessed anywhere the user has Internet access and can export data to any 3rd party applications or state reporting agencies that the CalSAVE customer may require).
